Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and virtually for the 2026 DAIR Annual General Meeting.
This year’s AGM brought together DAIR members, partners and members of the broader aerospace and defence ecosystem to reflect on another year of growth and share the priorities guiding DAIR into the year ahead.

Throughout the meeting, we provided updates on the continued development of our organization, programs, partnerships and physical infrastructure at Downsview.
Discussions highlighted the expanding role DAIR is playing in connecting Canadian industry, academia, government and research capabilities while creating new opportunities for collaboration across aerospace, defence and advanced manufacturing.

Collaborative R&D
We continue to expand opportunities that connect industry challenges with Canadian research expertise, infrastructure and collaborative R&D capabilities.
Industry Support Programs
Updates were shared on our initiatives supporting Canadian companies at different stages of growth, commercialization and industrial development, including programs focused on supplier development, sustainability and defence readiness.
Defence Readiness
We highlighted our growing work supporting Canadian companies pursuing opportunities within the defence sector, including the development of new resources and initiatives designed to strengthen industrial readiness and capability.
DAIR Innovation Network
The continued growth of the DAIR Innovation Network is creating more opportunities for companies, researchers and ecosystem partners to connect, exchange knowledge and participate in collaborative programming.
R&D Coordination Office
DAIR shared progress on the development of its R&D Coordination Office, designed to help connect industry with research expertise, facilities, funding pathways and collaborative innovation opportunities.
Education Coalition
Work continues to strengthen connections between industry and academia through DAIR’s Education Coalition, helping create stronger pathways for collaboration, skills development and future workforce needs.
Growing the DAIR Hub
The AGM also provided an update on the continued development of DAIR’s physical presence at Downsview, including progress surrounding the MOTH Building and the broader infrastructure supporting aerospace research, innovation and collaboration.
